Wheres the service?

We where a 2 ticket meal out of a 6 member party for lunch today. This was suppose to be an impromptude birthday meal with a friend who lives in the northern United States and was traveling through the Texarkana area. We had previously eaten lunch so we had ordered chips and salsa. When the order was placed the waitress asked if we wanted the chips and salsa before everyones meal would be delivered and we said yes. When another waitor brought out the dinners for the other 4 people he asked if we had ordered and we told him yes, he said he would check on the problem. After the other 4 people where half way finished with their meal I asked another waiter to please check on our order because we had not seen our waitress since she took the order. He came back and informed us that there was a problem with communication between the cook and the waitress, "she seemed upset with him too and she is waiting on the cook to complete the order", also that the opportunity for the waitors to fill the salsa was taken away from them and only the cook could do this now. Later she arrived with the chips and salsa. She passed our table several times later and didn't offer to refill our salsa until everyone had finished the meal. This was suppose to be a bottomless salsa and chips. The only bottomless part to this was the wait.-------Also I failed to mention that our table was right next to the kitchen!
